A young Mona Lisa?

We all know Mona Lisa and her classic smile, but it looks as if Leonardo captured her once-in-a-lifetime smile TWICE! It was originally thought to be a later copy, but recent analysis is showing that the Isleworth Mona Lisa is proving to be an authentic portrait of the woman when she was much younger, as reported in the Huffington Post...

About me:

I've been drawing for most of my life! At 12, my folks enrolled me in the kids' classes at the Art Student's League, and, on & off, I've been there ever since (not the kids' classes, of course). I've also studied at a lot of other places, and experimented in a lot of different mediums and situations, and even taught drawing.

About 10 years ago, Some friends & I were in the sketch classes at the ASL. At that time the school had almost no classes in the summer, so we decided to run our own sketch group during the summer to keep us inspired. We had a great imte, and I've kept it going ever since!
